"This was a very thoughtful field trip this morning..walking the path of many of my immediate family members.. like a story teller..in a city village..my eldest sister is over 85..so we talk about Wagner science rooms as my dad and mom had stroll these aisles of many artifacts and rock and birds..various intelligent animals who there seem to look outwardly into strange faces looking in..Indian spiritual bonds..I was born and raise near there..unique name for a street monument street..1952..I was walking early. To be in that space. Walking to understand man..and humanity..in Science and Art..young people must create thirst..to pursuit of happiness..and justice..understand the life of bumblebee bees..and polination..universe awaits a child..peace and excellence. Children's rights. Learn..and love..life.."
"Fantastic natural history museum. Despite mainly being one large room, there is an endless collection of preserved minerals, insects, mammals, mollusks, amphibians, reptiles, eggs, birds, fossils, and more. There isn't too much in the way of explanation or direct interaction, but for a free museum it's absolutely incredible. They also host free educational lectures/events, and the gift shop has very reasonable prices."
"The museum is a few blocks away from the BSL, and the 2 and 3 buses. It is a must see for people who like things like fossils, interesting rocks, animal specimens, bones, etc. I enjoyed my visit, and will recommend visiting the museum to a few friends, including one that especially likes geology!"
"This was such a lovely find! We went for a special event on mushrooms on Saturday. They usually have special events the first Saturday of every month that are free and great for kids. The museum itself is not too large, but filled with many interesting specimens, minerals, taxidermies, etc. I loved it!"
