"The preparer Cristina Solano, made mistakes on our tax return and now the IRS is charging us a penalty for understatement AND interest for taxes filed in 2021. Instead of properly imputing the W2 totals, she missed 2 employers information and now instead of paying just for our owed taxes, we have to pay additional $895 for the penalty and interest, 2 years later!! If you can, avoid this company. They’re sloppy, unprofessional and are apparently don’t communicate with each other. Valerie was looking into our files and found that the physical file only had an ID and SS card scanned, no additional paperwork; and they have no track record of what was done other than my husband being at their office 2 days in a row. Valerie was kind on the phone but never followed up the call like she said she would and when you try to reach their numbers, their mailbox is full. The worst part is, we trusted this company to represent us correctly by filing properly. What a mistake. I would NEVER recommend this company at all, and would advise every one to look for another company to use, heck maybe even those franchise locations like H&R might be better than this!!! If I could give zero stars, I would because even 1 star is being generous!! Evitar esta empresa! cometen errores... ahora el IRS está cobrando multas y tasas de interés. esta empresa no saben lo que hacen!!"
"ZERO STARS; I called in to schedule an appointment with Solano. The front desk doesn't speak English and instead of stating so (I also speak Spanish) she said one minute and placed me on hold. I'm assuming to find an English speaking employee? After being on hold for awhile they simply hung up on me. I'll give the benefit of the doubt that the call dropped, so I called back. I called EIGHT times after and every time they answer the phone and HANG UP ON ME. Me & my family have been getting our taxes done here for many years and Solano is fine but the receptionists are rude and unprofessional. We have contributed over 20 new clients to Solano over the years and now that I'm in the starting stages of a business I would've liked to use him as my accountant. I plan on going in person and addressing this blatant disrespect."
"I went for a very simple notarization of an affidavit. First of all, they have a bunch of high school kids working that do not know what they are doing. I waited for an hour and a half and when I asked the secretary they said the Public Notary is in the bathroom! They were extremely rude, unprofessional, and I honestly believe they don't know what they're doing. I would never go there again, especially for something more serious such as TAXES or IMMIGRATION! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE! (Also, someone please go check on the public notary, it's been over an hour and he's still in the bathroom)"
"Thanks for the apology followed by your rude, unprofessionalism! Let ME, the customer, clarify some points (remember you’re the one working, so learn your place!) 1) My AFFIDAVIT (NOT document) was a SIMPLE NOTARIZATION SEAL! It’s so SAD, LAUGHABLE, AND EMBARRASSING that you really had difficulty with a FOUR PAGE AFFIDAVIT. Is it really that hard to read a 4 page Affidavit? After I left your sad excuse for a business, I went to HECTOR I. RODRIGUEZ LAW and they did my “HARD” (or so you say) NOTARIZATION SEAL in 5 minutes! I had the hard part of the Affidavit already completed and all that I needed done was a Public Notary Seal and Signature! I don’t understand what is so difficult and confusing about that? Also, SO GLAD I already had the Affidavit done by a professional, I can’t imagine what they would have tried to pass off as an Affidavit and what they would have tried to charge me! 2) I think I would remember the time I was there, considering you had a client come in at 6:07 PM for her 6:00 PM appointment and I was there at 5:20 PM until well after 6:00 PM. Are you really checking the cameras and providing false times? There must really be no work that you have to do if you have the time to do this. Pathetic, childish, unprofessional, and embarrassing! Also, why would you disclose your employee’s personal information? I think that’s against the law, if I’m not mistaken. If my Affidavit wasn’t interpreted in the correct way, how was I able to get it notarized right after I left your business? Stop making stuff up because you guys don’t want to come across as lazy, unprofessional, rude, unreliable, confused, liars. If you don’t know how to do a simple notarization seal, simply say that don’t make us wait. You can’t tell me, the customer, how long I was waiting there. Anywhere else I go to get notarizations, you don’t need an appointment unless it’s for a bigger case, which I would never imagine going to your business for bigger cases such as immigration and taxes. If he wasn’t in the bathroom, then where was he? If you didn’t want to notify us of when he was available, were you even planning to even take us as customers? Why make us wait any more time if the secretary rudely said “He’s in the bathroom. I can’t knock on his door. You have to understand how it is. You have to wait 5 more minutes” We waited 15 more minutes after this was said to us and then left. It was quite apparent you guys didn’t know anything because as soon as you guys kept passing my Affidavit from one employee to another, everyone’s eyes would widen up as if they were reading something completely foreign to them. I would be more concerned with your business and line of work rather than replying to honest customer reviews and putting up fake ones if I were you. I suggest you should find a new line of work, because it really doesn’t seem like this one’s working out too well for you! Instead of replying to the ONE AND ONLY REAL customer review you guys have, maybe spend some time obtaining credentials and developing better work ethics. (Here’s one to start, the customer is always right and don’t argue with the customer, especially when you’re wrong) Since you’re so knowledgeable and smart, what was the Affidavit even about? I honestly believe you guys didn’t even bother to read it."
