"Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. Willing to give me a lot of information and helped find what was best for my vehicle."
"I wish i could give them 0 stars. I went to Midas on Germantown pike to get an inspection. Should have stayed away from them since I found out that the one in King of Prussia lost its inspection license temporarily from the guy at Tires Plus. They told me I needed 3 tires, and two ball joints on the front, or my car wouldnt pass. They said it was going to be something around $599 for the ball joints and $150 per tire. They also told me they wouldn't install the parts if I went and got them, it had to be their parts. I said no. They charged me $105 for the inspection, gave me the emissions sticker and I left. My friend recommended a place, Diverse Autoworks, Inc. near Phoenixville. I called them for an estimate last week, made an appointment for today (Monday 1/29) because they didn't want to give me an estimate without looking at it. I took my car to them this morning. They told me that the other mechanic must have been having a bad day or something, because my car passes inspection, the ball joints aren't bad even though the bushing is torn a little, and I didn't need the ball joints that I ordered and paid for through autozone. They charged me $43 for the inspection and sticker, and I was on my way. Beware of shady mechanics or those chains trying to scare you into getting unnecessary work done. I would have spent over $1100 at midas if I would have just let them do what they said was wrong."
"Completely disappointed with the service I received. They have different prices from the other Midas in town. They are not upfront about issues they knew my car wouldn’t pass inspection because my battery died in the parking lot. Instead of calling before they started working on inspection they waited until after the inspection to call me. Even told me it passed. But didn’t tell me I’d have to bring it back to finish the inspection, then charge me again. They just want your money. They also lied and said I needed an alternator when I just needed a new battery fyi you can’t test the alternator while you have a dead battery in the car, w/o removing the alternator. Poor customer service on their part."
"I walked into MIDAS on May 26th for something as simple as an Inspection. Ended up with a $3,478 bill. The owner called and said I needed all those things done before I passed inspection. He also went ahead and applied for a Midas CC for me over the phone. I honestly felt like I was manipulated into this whole process. When I told him NO and that I will pick up my car he insisted and kept insisting. My car is not even worth that much. It is a 2011 Infiniti. Here is the breakdown, Parts and Labor. State safety inspection:$28, State emissions Inspection:$51.56, Rear Suspension stay bar:$799.96, Front Subframe:$1489.91, Air filter:$109.98, Synthetic Oil Change:$81.99, Rear Brake Pads & Rotors:$649.96, Totaling:$3211.36 but I charged $3478.23. 1 Don't know where that extra $267 is coming from to begin with. 2 The owner said that they will order the Rear Suspension and Front Subframe $2289.87 Parts and Labor. Before it was ordered, I spoke to a few people and they ALL told me that the prices was unrealistic. So I called right away and told them to cancel the order. The owner kept saying they'll refund labor and not the parts... DEFINITELY not acceptable. I'll let all the extra unnecessary stuff slide(brakes, oil change and air filter) except the Rear Suspension and Front Subframe. I have given them chances after chances. It's been 6 months already so I need that $2556.87 back on my account AS SOON AS POSSIBLE."
"Not great... Went in to have my AC recharged and something that shouldn't have taken more than a few hours turned into an all day ordeal. Scheduled service ahead, dropped off car, 3 hours later heard back that it needed a recharge. Another 3 hours passes and still haven't heard anything, so I go back to the shop to realize they hadn't even started recharging the car. So I sat there for another hour, only for them to start then tell me that the machine wasn't able to charge my car. I wasn't charged for anything which was nice (and the only reason this is getting 2 stars), but I would recommend avoiding this place."
