"Silver Lake Nature Center is a great combination nature area and park. They have some lovely trails through the surrounding forest and wetlands. There is a nature center that you can walk through or rent out. There is a large field area with a pavilion and parking. Overall it's just a really nice place."

"Great little nature preserve around a small lake. Very well marked trails. Plenty of nature and wildlife to explore. I like to bring my dog and do the whole loop. Also an awesome place to take pictures and learn about locat flora and fauna. Plenty of parking. Easy access. Very easy hiking/walking trails."

"Great, well maintained paths for an easy walk. I like to use our local nature centers as training hikes while my kids are little. They aren’t strenuous but they offer enough variety to keep us interested and walking around for at least an hour. The visitors center has a small animal exhibit. The highlight is obviously the Turtle Tunnel!"

"Great trails to go walking, running or bike riding. Always see deer, frogs, squirrels, snakes, or birds. It's not to big or to small its just perfect. Spotting the painted rocks that the local artists lay around are always a pleasure to find! Great place to have a picnic. I love this Park!"
