"A very beautiful park! My family and I went there for an event that was being hosted there. We loved how open it was, the seating, and the beautiful scenery. I would definitely recommend. We live close and plan on visiting again."
"We held our Daughter's baby shower here yesterday. Always an enjoyable spot. Historic and well kept grounds and facilities."
"I always enjoy learning about Early American History. I was truly impressed with how Cliveden has included Afro-Americans in their rightful place along with the various ethnicities in our early history. I was impressed with the effort actors exhibited in their portrayal of the various characters especially as they shared what they have learned regarding the crucial roles of the African American as tradesmen, scientists, inventors, merchants, soldiers and etc; not just as slaves. Here my granddaughter is participating in making paper."
"Great lands. Beautiful buildings and engaging staff. Went for Germantown Revolutionary Festival in 2020."
"The property was a summer residence for the Benjamin Chew family in a much earlier time in Philadelphia's history the location contains three buildings a carriage house which is air condition the main house which is under somewhat of Renovations but definitely available for tours and a groundskeepers house which I do not believe is on display but they do tell you about it. My visit was in the early afternoon and there was no reenactments or other activities at the time however I did take a number of photographs for your review The Carriage House offers a short movie which explains the time period of the house and the guides take you from there to the main house and tour. It is my belief that all are welcome free of charge to enjoy the grounds on a normal operating hours. One important note I would like to make is that the main entrance is on Clivden Street off of Germantown Avenue it is easily accessible by public transportation the 23 bus and street parking if you should come by private car."
