Reviews of Valley Pack 'N' Mail
"What a great experience. Arrived at 9:00 for my I9 documentation and was out by 9:04. Such pleasant and helpful workers, highly recommend!"
"LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! I have been coming to Valley Pack 'N' Mail for many many years. I needed a PO Box, and was having issues actually getting my mail at the PO BOX I had thru the post office. If I receive something too big, or forget to go by and the mail builds up - a human being calls me - YES _ A HUMAN BEING. I asked for their help with a big mailing project for special events, and they were ALL IN! On occasion I need to send overseas and they are so very helpful in completing the required documentation so that the package is received (I've tried on my own - and the package gets stuck at customs because I didn't provide correct paperwork - SO FRUSTRATING!) SOOO very accommodating and always helpful! HIGHLY RECOMMEND."
"I was trying to use of their services but I changed my mind after I remembered that this was the place nearby DMV that I went back in 2014 when I was a teenager to get a money order to renew my permit but I was short like 30 cents and walked right out and the lady didn't even say anything just smiled in silence, I'm sure she had a leftover change she could have used to cover for it but she didn't, was very frustrated on that day had to take a bus back home get that 30 cents and come back to see the DMV was closed and take a bus back home having nothing accomplished. Update: Please note the following review was about an experience back in 2014 and might not reflect the current procedures, ever since my initial rating I've upgraded my rating to support a local mom and pop business in this area just like how I always support local small business, sorry for the misunderstanding. ''let bygones be bygones''"
"Disappointed. Bamboozled. ** added since the response has a lot of half truths! I forgot to mention that Mindy told me "grow a set of balls" and told me to tell my pregnant friend to go and find a screw! I support local businesses whenever I can and that is important to me. The fine print in this interaction continues to become a fish story! I trusted you as a professional in packing and shipping to be doing something with knowledge! 1. my initial call I asked if there was a part missing because the item would not support any weight. 2. I never want to offend someone and was VERY uncomfortable with you taking the item apart, which you allude to when you said I asked you to stop.... I do NOT recall you asking permission prior to pulling out your tool kit... and me saying to stop there was a polite way of me telling you how uncomfortable I was with you doing that! You taking it apart saved MINIMAL space and was unnecessary. I would've paid the couple bucks more to just not mess with the item! 3. I called back a few days later because the situation didn't sit right with me and after discussing it with multiple people it is WILD that I sent something that fully functioned and then between the shipping and delivery it no longer worked. I assumed this would be covered in your damage in shipping! 4. after this interaction I'm certain you have no problems after 32 years.....You defer the responsibility to the customer and collected your payment and left us out to dry! We shipped a baby bouncer to a friend. It cost us $83.50 which included the large box I purchased from them and the shipping services Mindy one of the owners at the store took the item apart in front of me and since I didn't stop her I "consented" according to them. The baby Bjorne bouncer which costs about $200 was damaged and not able to be repaired and since it was dismantled it voided any warranty. I called Pack N mail to see if I could use the insurance since the item was damaged beyond repair and needed to now be replaced and they stated it wouldn't be covered. So since I "consented" to Mindy taking it apart it is my fault and I now paid $83.50 to ship it, wasted time trying to ask the company to help us out in this situation. Lost a $200 baby bouncer, and purchased a new baby $200 bouncer to replace it! Really an unfortunate event! So I guess read that fine print on the shipping "insurance" they offer because when I needed it most it was outside the scope! The whole I "consented" thing was really was tough since I trusted them as a packing professional that they knew what they were doing!"
"Ive been shipping fine art with Valley Pack 'N' Mail since 2015. They are kind and knowledgeable people with professional services. Positive comments have been left for me regarding the packaging and care of the items received. Highly recommended!"
