"I've been coming here for almost 50 years and it's a gem. During the holidays they have the train and doll exhibition and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely worth the visit."
"I just did a photo shoot with Robin as my photographer for her school project. Over 100 photos was the assignment, but she can only do her presentation with 2 photos. We did it at the historic Colton's Point, on the main land right by the island, and Bushwood Wharf (right down from our house). The museum for St. Clement's Island had perfect places for formal and candid photos."
"Do not book “Dinner and a Cruise” with the museum. This event was cancelled day of and we were never notified. Zach is heading this effort and doesn’t not contact customers when the event gets canceled nor returns their phone calls. Terrible business practice. Myself and friends will not be re-booking next year due to lack of communication and poor management of event. Waste of people’s time and money. Response to owner's response: Thank you for the response. It's the first I've received. There were no calls or emails received and I verified with a friend who also purchased tickets that she didn't receive any phone calls nor emails stating the event had been cancelled. I provided my cell number twice yesterday and no return calls. I emailed Zach yesterday, no response. I have not been contacted regarding a full refund - was informed during one of my calls to your establishment yesterday that I will receive in 5 business days - but have not received that information in written correspondence. Updated response 18 Aug 23: Still no refund issued from St. Clements for the dinner cruise nor responses to any email inquiries to Zach."
"Very cool spot. Learned that this was the first landing in Maryland."
"Definitely worth it to come check out. I recommend paying the $7 for the additional boat ride and getting able to walk across the island. I can't believe it was once 400+ acres. When you get off the boat head left and walk around the island (15min walk) and see the big cross and light house. There are many picturesque spots as well. The museum is also good and they have a video that explains a lot. Also staff was very friendly as well."
