"I was passing by while doing some leaf peeping and pulled into the parking lot. The grounds are lovely, and two years ago I attended a wedding at Rutherfurd Hall. I suggest you do an online search and read about the history of this building which FDR visited several times. The building is open only one afternoon per week, but the grounds are always open."

"It is a very cool place. Although I wasn't there for the history, I was there for a wedding. They host weddings in the backyard overlooking the lake and it's a gorgeous location for it. After the wedding we were permitted to look around some of the rooms of the house and that was great because you can see and feel some of the history. This house has been visited by many notable figures including I believe FDR. Also, a little shout out to Nick who seemed to be a maintenance guy or someone who runs the facilities there. Throughout the course of the wedding, he was very friendly and very kind and helped us with countless random things. He went above and beyond in a lot of ways and I was impressed with the dedication and level of service."

"Excellent historic mansion built in 1903 and open for tours and special events. Last night, a Foetepianist-Danial Adam Maltz gave a recital performing pieces from Hadyn and Mozart. Beautiful event for an appreciative crowd."
