"My daughter's wedding was at Alpenhof Lodge, and no one could believe how perfect it was. We had the entire wedding party and all the siblings with us for 5 days which was amazing. Had the ceremony towards sundown with a roaring fire in the fireplace. Had a big fire on the plaza all that evening. After the ceremony, every space had a great little party, Under the pavilion, out on the plaza, in the kitchen, at the bar, and upstairs in the game room. The pictures are gorgeous and we saved a ton of money versus just getting a venue. Mr. Hoff is responsive and a pleasure to work with. He supplied the beautiful wedding package of 60 chairs and tables with white linens. Highly recommended for Weddings and family reunions! Pro-tip - the Bridal party also went to the woods within 5 min of the cabin for some gorgeous waterfall and forest pictures!"

"This was our family's second stay at Alpenhof Lodge and again we had a fabulous time! The kitchen is fantastic for cooking for a large crowd and it had whatever we needed for utensils/cookware. The bathrooms are very clean and so was the entire house. The upper level is wonderful for the kids to play - it would be great if there was a bar up there as the windows are large and a very spacious area. Alpenhof is our go to for our winter family gathering!"

"The lodge sits on a beautiful location. The house is spacious and easily accomodates upto 30 people. The space around the house is ideal for kids to play and for outdoor parties and campfire. The dampener during our stay was the airconditioning. It just didn't exist. The house has 2 levels. The bedrooms in the upper level had individual air conditioners. The lower level didn't have airconditioning. This level has 6 bedrooms, recreation space and the kitchen. So the majority of our group was occupying this level and we had to spend 3 days in it without airconditioning, in June!! The kids loved the bedroom with bunk beds but couldn't have a good night's sleep because of the lack of AC. The owners should look into this issue. If this cannot be rectified, it would be nice if they mentioned the lack of it beforehand enabling customers to make an informed decision."
