"On Saturdays this city park is jammed with vendors under tents selling farm produce until 1PM. On the first and third Saturdays, arts and crafts artisans join the Farmer's Market to display their goods and services. The Saturday of 8.20.22 Crafts Festival, I met Dawn Kontur, Happy Yarning, part of her story is: busy mom with three children, works partime, has passion for crocheting, and is here each 1st and 3rd Saturday to sell her crochet items."
"I really enjoy the community location of this park. This visit was for the farmers market and it was a great morning, vendors very helpful and friendly. Some new items (drinks, mushrooms...) I had not tried before. Cash is preferred by most vendors but cards were accepted. Dog friendly like most downtown Fredericksburg locations. Bathrooms were clean. A pretty fountain and some beautiful flowers make a great back drop for photos."
