"Called Friday, January 26th to get an estimate for painting my passenger mirror. After calling Maaco, a representative asked did I want to purchase the part and get it installed. The quote given for parts and labor was a $400 difference for an aftermarket part, so I decided to go with the other vendor. I then requested an estimate from Maaco for painting my mirror. I then asked was it better to have them to paint my part before or after installation, and the turnaround time. The representative gave the price. Then stated that it really didn't matter, the turnaround time was 2-days, and that I could drop off the car Monday after getting it repaired. On January 29th at 4PM, I go to the auto mechanic to get the mirror installed then straight to Maaco. I walked Maaco, introduced myself and explained the reason for my visit. I noticed the estimate was for an extra $38. I asked why, since I received the quote over the phone. The manager states, because Maaco prefers the part to not be installed. I explained to the manager that I called before installation and the conversation that took place with receipts of my call and length of time. The manager looked at me in my face and did not mumble a word or blink an eye. I asked him are you going to say anything? I folded my paper, said thank you and walked out of the door. If you're looking for great customer service, this is not the shop. I even looked at my mirror that was painted in 2021 and you could see silver, the original color of the car I got painted gray. The work was not that great. The manager is not customer friendly to be the first face of Maaco. A company is only great when a customer is willing to repeat business. The managers nonchalant attitude is not professional and definitely let me know to never return to this location. Maaco didn't lose my business for $38. They lost my business for poor customer service from Mr. Don Mestas. His attitude is not professional. It's passive and condescending. Please keep in mind that my mirror was cracked it was not hanging. Why would anyone want to leave their car at Maaco for 2-3 days and have to catch Ubers if they could just drop off the mirror? I had a working mirror. Sighhhhh"
"Maaco painted my 2008 camry to look like a brand new car! They even put the sparkles back into her original paint! They removed all scratches and dents perfectly! I love their work and professional service. Thank you so much!"
"09 Toyota to get its paint job refurbished. It's a cheap paint job. At least no overspray. I got the car back dirty. So you really couldn't see the paint job well. Once I wash the car. I could find very good. I could find places where dust was on the car that was painted over. Even earl shimb wasn't that bad. My brother in law used to paint cars in the back yard came out better then this. The car did go back later for a redo. The problems were shown to the manager all the issues were resolved. It was returned clean and no dirt in the paint, sanding scour or orange peal. Thank you."
"Don and his crew did a great job providing some minor body work and installing my rocker panel for my 71 C10. They also clear coated my truck to put a glossy finish to my custom patina two tone paint job. Thanks Don and team for taking care of this!"
"Took the chance on going to a franchised business to get an all-over paint job and couldn't be happier with the decision I made. Although more expensive i highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend getting the premium paint package, which is a 2-stage paint job. Even this package will save you thousands over a "real" (whatever that means) body shop. I also had a lot of body work done. Badge deletes filled in on the fenders, small dents and dings, and a large dent in the rear quarter panel fixed. The quality of work is great and the car turned out looking like it just came off the showroom floor. I did have to take the car back to get some things touched up that didn't come out quite right the first time, but it was no issue. The owner, Don, was very understanding of my concerns. He allowed me to bring the car back any time to have it done. Took it back a few weeks later and had the car back in less than a week. As a bonus, the car was fully detailed, inside and out, when I picked it up as well. I will definitely recommend anyone to come get an estimate here. Don't pay absurd amounts of money at other body shops when you can get something just as good here for less than half the price."
