"Beautiful. Nice playground and sports fields. Summer 2023 Wednesday night farmers market. Lovely walking trails in the back. Parking lot can be packed during sports."
"This park is AMAZING! One of my Summer Campers recommended we go. Boy, sure, glad we did. Is has everything to entertain 30 Campers. From the "GA GA" ball court to the military style obstacle course. The slides were awesome. The zip line was great. Had some much needed shade, and we will be back! Don't walk RUN to this park for a great summer day!"
"A great family friendly park. Yes that includes the pups! From fields for all the sports, a great walking path to basketball courts and of course a really amazing playground! 100% will go again and again."
"Great place to visit with leashed dogs of all breeds. Plenty of room to walk or run! They have stations with clean up bags in case you forget to bring your own. Playground equipment for kids and even a zip line for your children. Pavillion with tables for picnicking. Good place to put down devices and enjoy yourself."
"Heritage Park is beautiful. From the fields to the 9/11 memorial to the walking trails. Seven years ago, I marked that walking trail for my eagle scout project (yellow marker in a below picture) and at one point, made a physical map with various points of interest. It's around 5 or so miles with the usual hills and slanting landscape and a couple of rocks. Upon revisiting a couple days ago, it has been very well maintained and clean. Most of the markers are still there to tell which of the three trails you are on which is definitely the most surprising for me. The trails have stunning scenery of the distant hills and treetops. Also at two points, the trail runs along a river so you can enjoy the sound of running water about half way through. If you enjoy walking or just nature in general and are in Asbury, definitely give the trail a shot. You won't be disappointed. It felt good to walk this trail another time with little change from the last time I was here."
