"We actually accidentally found this neat place. Small Museum, but great tour."
"The Railway Museum in Chesapeake Beach is a treasure and conveniently located 5 minutes from North Beach, MD."
"My daughter loved it and the couple running the museum were so nice and informative. We'll definitely be coming back!"
"There are plenty of shops and places to visit. Good for a morning to afternoon visit. Also a block off the board walk there are plenty more places to see."
"Adorable little museum packed with a lot of railroad history, and the last railway car from the late 1800s that used to run from Washington DC to Chesapeake Beach. Standing inside “Dolores” gives a definitive “Polar Express” vibe. QR codes make for easy listening of the detailed history. It’s a little ways off from the main drag through Prince Frederick (about a 20 minute drive) but you won’t be disappointed venturing out here. There is a bay front hotel and a few blocks down a mobility accessible boardwalk along the water leading to an enormous pier to just sit and daydream while the waters of the Chesapeake slap against the pier. A collection of antique shops, restaurants and ice cream parlor line the opposing street of this sleepy little hamlet. Worth checking out!"
