Reviews of Maryland Auto & Truck Repair
"I recently had my box truck over 10k gvwr undergo a state inspection at this repair shop and was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend them if you need a state inspection for your vehicle. My only wish is that they also offered inspection service for trucks with air brakes."
"They were easy to work with and get appointments with. They did an excellent and timely job on my DOT inspection, but it was a bit on the high side."
"I am a new resident to Maryland and was able to take care of my new tags, title, registration, and state inspection service all in one go. There was a repair needed before my car could pass the inspection, but the staff explained clearly what needed to be done and presented an itemized breakdown of costs, which was helpful. If you are a new resident, it's really handy to be able to get everything done at one place. Thanks for your service today."
"Let me start off by saying that noone was rude in any way, it was just a frustrating and disappointing experience since I was exhausted, but trying to get things taken care of. I was also hoping to finally get my car issues resolved in a place that seems to do good work and be trustworthy. I can't speak to the latter two because I did not end up seeking service. When you read this I am sure you'll know exactly who I am, too. I called on Friday and spoke to a woman about getting my car/brakes looked at. I had received an estimate from one place, but based on their behavior in that interaction I wanted a second opinion and quote. I would have come on the weekend, but I was told you're not open then and I could come in at 8am Monday. My first name was taken and that was it. I came in Monday/today, parked, and had started walking towards your first large sign looking for the entrance before I realized I would have to go further in and that maybe I should move the car to a different part of the lot. A gentleman came out of one of your non-customer doors at that moment and asked me if I needed help. I told him about my appointment, where I was parked and asked if I should move it. He told me no and that I can just let you know where I parked it. So I walked the rest of the way and went in. My issue is the representation of communication which, as I am already tired, did not make me want to find out how things would be going forward. Because once I got inside, I was then told I would need to pay to have the brakes looked at, although it was not mentioned when I called, and that I need to walk back across the lot (I was also carrying a heavy laptop case because I had asked over the phone about wifi while I wait since I work remotely--also why I told you I did not mind a couple of hours waiting) and move my car to your immediate parking. Again, neither of these things are the main idea or an issue in and of themselves-- the communication is. Because no one wants to spend money they weren't expecting to or have to do something they would have already done, but were told they did not have to."
"We brought our new (to us) RV and Jeep in for Maryland Inspection. We knew the Jeep needed two new front tires. They did all the work in a timely manor. Juanita was wonderful to work with and very helpful. We would recommend using Maryland Auto and Truck Repair. Happy Campers!"
