Pizza By Pappas

"Did a delivery order over the phone for work lunch. I asked for a mixed cold cuts grinder and emphasized no onion and no cheese. It had onions in with the lettuce. Thank goodness I'm not allergic to them, just sensitive. Be careful if you have food allergies. Apparently they don't care to be sure. The chicken noodle soup was almost tasteless. I'll be back for the pizza, that's delish. I guess I'll skip the extras."

"Love this place. Love the atmosphere. And the pizza is awesome. Can't ask for much more. Also love the train that goes all around the restaurant!"

"Good local pizzeria and more. Service was a little slow but they were busy, not a problem. Food was very good, Pappa's Special and a hot wing grinder. When you enter head to the back right and order & pay at the counter, menu is on the wall above. Nothing fancy here but the grub is the star."

"I've been eating Pizza by Pappas for a good chunk of my life and during my last trip to Scranton I grabbed some lunch, and some extras to bring home. The food still tastes fantastic, just like the first time I had it, and the service was quick and cheerful. By the time I finished a couple of games of pinball my order was ready & everything was packaged well. Upon arriving at my families for lunch the meal was both correct & still hot. The take-and-bake pizza I brought back to Philadelphia with me traveled well & finished cooking with no problem (400° for 5-10 minutes). Even without the pan it still keeps its signature taste."
