"Quite literally one of the worst experiences I’ve had at any repair shop. First, I booked an appointment for diagnostic services. When I arrived, I was told they don’t do that, and tried to get me to pay $150 just to get the car inspected. When I asked why it said they offered the service online when they didn’t, he didn’t know. Moreover, I made the appointment for 8 am. Arrived at 8 am. At 8:45 I walked out when I seen that they were working on 3 other cars and mine was still sitting in the parking lot. It’s pointless making an appointment. When I spoke to the clerk about it, he gave me attitude asking if I saw all the other people in the line. What does that have to do with me and the appointment I made for 8 am? They deserve zero stars. Won’t ever be back."

"Should have read the other 1 star reviews because I whole heartedly agree with them. Woke up, cold winter morning, car dead, towed to the nearest pep boys at 9am. Start with a battery check, pay nearly $300 for a battery replacement. Not the battery, cool ok now it's the alternator, oked the alternator replacement at 3pm same day and the guy who I was speaking to told me it would be ready before the end of the day. I call back at 6:20pm, since the website and phone says their hours are OPEN until 7pm on Mondays. Let me tell you that's a lie. No one answered or bothered to update me on the status of my car so I went the next morning in person. Still not done, give us until noon. Like no dude, I have to get to work, if these people want to run a business they need to coordinate with their customers. Had they actually called me to let me know it wasn't done I could have reorganized my work schedule but no, they don't answer their phones and they don't bother finishing jobs they've half started. Definitely don't recommend"

"I dropped my car off because it needed new tires, alignment, and wheel balancing. The first issue with this location is that there is no sense of urgency in completing work. The vibe of the front of the store employees is lackadaisical. When I picked my car up the first time, they did not balance the wheels at all so the car shook while driving it. I then had to return to this location to have the wheels balanced. I dropped my car off at 6:30 PM to have the wheels balanced (which should have been done the first time) and did not hear anything at all until I called to check on my car at 2:30 PM the following day. I was told the work would be completed by 4:30, but the car was not even in the service bay yet. The car was not finished until 6:30 that day, which seems like a very long time to wait for a car that should have had the simple work of balancing wheels done the first time. When I went to pick the car up again, the car was still vibrating while driving. I hit a U-turn and went back to have them balance the tires again. At this point, the service manager told me that he didn't think it was a wheel balancing issue and that he "meant" to tell me the day before. While the issue was not resolved, it was improved. I do not recommend this Pep Boys location and will not be back again. It took multiple days to do what I have come to understand is pretty basic work, the communication is poor, and they left my rims completely covered in dust."

"WORST AUTO EXPERIENCE EVER. should be zero stars. my car had overheated and appeared to be a coolant leak and was looking to tow somewhere. i had called to different auto shops to check availability around 3-4 pm, this pep boys location told me they would at least look at my car that same day. this was the main reason i came here. the next day comes and waited and never received an update to my car, so i called several times to inquire and was given vague answers. near the end of day, i called and was told they fixed it and was letting it run for an hour and should be ready around then (6pm or so) and would be given a call. however, i never got a call, and there phone line was dead so I could not confirm if that car was good to go. the next day i called in the AM to ask what the status of my car and was told they had not worked on it and was waiting for my "approval" to work on it; which was a shock and disappointing given the previous conversation. from there, again never called once this entire time, i called around noon and was told my car was ready to be picked up. i picked it up, drove to work (about 20 min drive) and noticed my coolant reservoir had depleted quite noticeably. when i drove home (another 20 mins) it was almost empty. it became clear i was gushing coolant and the leaking issue was worse. see attached pictures. i was clearly misled and learned this location was backed up with other work and there car work skills are bad."
