"Great place to watch the boats and kids play in the grass."
"Such a fun and lovely place! The views, shops, and history make this gem a true experience. We went for the skiing Santa, which was a sight I'll never forget!"
"A good place to visit if you are in Old Town Alexandria - two parks in one This is a park located on the river side of Old Town Alexandria. There are several parking options. There is a set of parking spots along the west side of the park, street parking around the city, and a free lot south at Jone’s Park which is a 10 min walk away. The park is a large open field with a walkway along the water, that heads both north and south. The park connects to King Street Park, another open field park, just to the north of this one. There is an awning-covered seating area with tables on the north side of both parks. There is a walking trail to the north and south along the river with informational signs and displays that describe the sights along the trail. There are several shops and restaurants in Old Town Alexandria just to the west of the field. The field has several large trees and some well-worn grass. There is a large, “I Love You” sign facing the street that offers a good picture option. It seems a hub of activity the times that I have been there and offers a good view of the Potomac River. It is a good place to visit if you are planning to visit Old Town Alexandria and want an easy place to park and enjoy a walk along the river."
"Awesome area. Must visit for tourists. There was live music when we visited, and loved the overall atmosphere."
"I'm only giving it 3 stars because I'm visiting this area in the Winter 2022. Based on what I've seen, I'm almost 100% sure this area is awesome when its warmer weather. Cozy, great place to take photos, watch the airplanes, and catch the boats and birds passing by. It's inexpensive and probably a good place for a first date to chit and chat. My girlfriend loves the water so it was fitting that we spent time here. The next time I visit, I'll probably eat at one of the many near by restaurants. Enjoy"
