"This is what the "urban renewal" disaster of the 1960s and 1970s SHOULD have looked like. It builds amazing places to have community and spend money AND it's artistically beautiful. These buildings are incredible. The restaurants and bars that have brought are enticing and delicious. It's incredible to just walk and magnetic for tourists and locals alike. And of course it creates an an environment and venue for even more commercial development through the creation of performance and exhibition space. Who wouldn't want to spend their time here?"

"Great location near to everything in DC. Room was modern, clean. They hosted a free cocktail hour which was nice. Only negative was parking was pricey, bathroom door didn't have a lock and would slide open."

"I was staying at the Salamander Hotel and decided to walk and get some fresh air. I was told the Wharf was a fun place to go. WOW! It was great. There was no shortage of restaurants. They were non-stop for blocks. If you couldn’t find a restaurant to eat, then you weren’t hungry! There were people everywhere! It was close to the holidays so everything was decorated. I ate at Lucky Buns. The food and service there was incredible! If you are in Washington, DC…. You need to check out The Wharf DC! I highly recommend it!"

"Very nice place. They have great restaurants and pubs. Overall the vibe is good. Parking is always an issue over here, it’s hard to find street parking. But the good part is they have parking garage. During winters they have outdoor campfire for visitors. Great place to visit with friends and family."

"My first time in The Wharf and I enjoyed very much. What I like the most is the variety of restaurants, bars… It’s nice to hang around with friends. Gets very busy after work and specially during weekends. It’s by the water and the view is amazing. You can go with your kids and they can wonder free around. It has a fish Market , I enjoyed buying there for the freshness of the products. Has multiple parking lots and also you can park nearby on the streets."
