Nonno Alby's Brick-oven Pizza

"Editing my prior 5-star review to a 2-star overall with a 1-star on food. The last three times I purchased Nonno Alby's, the pizza was incredibly disappointing. Today, I purchased the Nonno's pizza, which was a floppy, inedible mess. We did not finish the pizza, nor will we finish the pizza. The last two order experiences have not been as bad as this, but the pizza was still incredibly disappointing for the supposed quality that Nonno's brings. The service is fine and the atmosphere is always nice inside, but jeez, the pizza reeks of inconsistency and disappointment for what you would expect from a brick oven joint."

"Nonno Albys is a solid west reading stop. Thin crust, brick oven style pizza with great varieties and other bites too. Their beer selection is always a fresh rotation. Never disappoints."

"The pizza I bought at this store took me back to 1997, Sigonella, Sicily. The pizza I ate while stationed there was just like it! The texture, no heavy marinara, large veggie chunks, great meat, thin, crispy, flavorful crust! And that unmistakable brick oven taste! I've lived in this area since 2020, but I've just found it and plan to go back very soon!"
