"I found out on Sunday that I desperately needed an MD state inspection for my vehicle in order to work on the following day, Monday. I found several places in the area that conduct these inspections; however, they were all closed on Sundays. I sent out several frantic emails to over 10 auto shops in the area to see if I could get an appointment for the inspection on the following day. I assumed no one would respond since it was Sunday and everyone was closed; however, Genette (the owner of Anthony's) responded most promptly to my message. She told me the price of the inspection and indicated that I could come in the next day at 8:30 am to get my car inspected. Side note: out of all the 10 places I called for an estimate for a state inspection, this place was the most affordable! In addition, Genette offered me a complimentary ride home to and from their shop after dropping my car off for the inspection. AMAZING! Unfortunately, I had to cancel my appointment shortly after due to extenuating circumstances; however, I am so very IMPRESSED with their customer service. They did not have to respond to my message till Monday when their shop opened, but they chose to do so on a Sunday afternoon, just to assist someone in need. I don't know if it's just me, but 80% of auto shops/garage employees I interact with are not always friendliest, as they can come across as abrasive; however, I got great vibes all around from this place. Thank you so much again for your help Genette - it's greatly appreciated! I will definitely use your services in the future."

"Everyone was very helpful and pleasant to work with. They did a complete inspection of my car and provided a detailed report (with photos) of everything they found that needed repair. Their estimate for labor and parts was fair and reasonable and there was no high pressure to begin the work immediately. After reviewing the estimate I called the next morning to let them know I wanted them to do the repairs on my car. I dropped off the car that afternoon and the work was completed the next day. I am very happy with the work they did and the entire customer experience with A.Anthony’s! I will be back and will recommend them to others!"

"Amazing, professional, courteous service! Came in for a state inspection, left with my new go-to auto shop! The service is fantastic and reminiscent of a bygone era, from their communication to their honesty and care. Unlike most shops today, A. Anthony's made me feel like a long time acquaintance or friend of the family by the way communicated with me and made me feel like I was there priority. Their service is extremely professional, as well as being one of the most seamless and modern experiences I've had to date; within a few hours of beginning their inspection of my vehicle I received a text message with a link to a page listing my vehicle and the results of the inspection. All sections were accompanied by actual pictures of car, as well as notations detailing any issues or concerns. I promptly received a follow up text letting me know that they were working on a quote for the repairs, and called me within 10 minutes of receiving the initial text. They were very honest about what needed to be done, and what they recommended be done. From there I was sent a follow-up link by text that took me to the page where I could approve or deny the various repairs, signed the agreement using my phone, and they began working immediately. TL;dr They're an amazing local shop that provides services at fantastic rates, as well as promoting a family run atmosphere that seems to be almost but forgotten these days and I would highly recommend them to my friends and family."
