Reviews
"Owner does weird stuff with his chickens late at night, but provided sufficient accommodations. Lots of "male appendage" decor."
"The caretaker is both kindly and offensive in nature. His mood seems to depend greatly on the amount of scotch that he has consumed. It seems best to interact with him after 5 P.M. The unkempt main house is very chickencentric with the flair for the eccentric. Decor could be described as fratty farmer with class. Examples of moder art adorn the bathroom light switches and light reading is strewn about (some a little penisie in nature). The heart of the house is the mighty wood fired stove which reminded this visitor of Calcifer from Howls Moving Castle. Libations are served daily from 9 a.m. till pass out. This is an all you care to drink type of thing, as long as Monkey shoulder is your drink. Outdoor activities are included in your stay. These include, but are not limited to walking in the woods, smoking cigars, watching the caretaker cut the lawn/fix the lawn tractor and shooting at old appliances. The night is most often capped off with fireworks. The annual display on the 4th apparently is the farms largest expenditure and we'll worth mentioning. Brilliant! I could go on and on about this place, but reading about it and experiencing it are two very different things. Recommend for weddings, honeymoons, first hunts or chicken fancying."
