"Take your business elsewhere!!! Appointments are apparently meaningless and they are extremely unprofessional with poor customer service and communication. Had a 10:00am appointment and dropped off four wheels to be balanced that were to be done in a few hours. Show back up after 5:00 pm and they aren’t balanced due to being “understaffed”. Solution was to leave my nice corvette wheels outside overnight to be completed tomorrow. Unacceptable. Waste my gas and time, thank you Firestone."
"I was pleasantly surprised by the service. Previously, I had a Firestone in another state pretend like they were honoring an oil change coupon but giving a ridiculously high quote. I expected something similar here just based on my experience with them but nothing of the sort! They completely honored the coupon and even though the time for the oil change with an appointment in advance was a little on the high side, I got a call well before the estimated time of completion saying my car had been serviced. If it wasn't for that courteous call I would give four stars cause that's a long wait, but they did me good by getting it done faster and letting me know that they did, something I honestly did not expect them to follow through on. Much appreciated by me!"
"I needed 4 new tires due to a roadway mishap and they did a good job putting in the tires that I wanted. Actually, I think they do a better job of wheel balancing/alignment than my dealer. Their time estimates could be a tad bit more accurate, but I was in no rush. Overall, I was pleased with them."
"I was quoted a price for diagnostics and asked for an estimate on the repairs to fix the issue and was told likely the unclogging of some drains would be included. I figured since it did turn out to be just that simple the initial price would be the total. Not only was the price double that to actually get the work done (almost $100 total to unclog sunroof drains), but I was given advice to get more work done that I hadn’t asked for when I dropped the car. This advice was based solely on my up coming mileage. I declined the work and pressure to address issues that aren’t needed right now, but am disappointed in this place. They also left things out of place that they had moved to get to the drains I am assuming. Upon reflection on the Sunday prior they had charged for a basic test and cleaning for the battery that I later learned I would have gotten for free elsewhere. I was referred here by the place nearby that installed my battery. It was a place to use in a pinch since they are open on Sundays, but I won’t be back for anything other than possible tire repair likely."
"This is not my normal service shop, but I have used them on occasion because they are closer than my trusted shop. I will not make that mistake again. I took my truck in to get a plug in a rear tire that ran over a nail. I was told it would be later in the day, and I was prepared to be without my truck for the day. Much later that afternoon I get a phone call that said that they had inspected the tire, and found the nail. Then they said that they couldn't repair the tire due to the tread wear on the inside and outside treads, they were to low. The issue is that they were looking at the front tires, and I knew it. My trusted shop had identified that my alignment was off a few months before and had worn an uneven amount on the front tires. Not a big deal, we got the alignment fixed. I inform the tech at Firestone that they are looking at the wrong tire, and he admits that they had indeed "checked" the front. My problem is that they lied to me. They specifically told me that they had identified the problem, but couldn't fix it because it was to close to the worn tread line. They never inspected the tire. They saw the uneven wear and simply said "sell him tires"! Then to add insult to injury, they called me back ten minutes later and said that they couldn't repair the rear tire either because the tire was "old". Needless to say, I just got back from my trusted shop (NoVa Family Auto Care in Falls Church) where they fixed my tire, and gave me an honest assessment on the wear on my front tires (15-20 thousand more miles). I only gave them a second star due to prior work done on my vehicles, I will not return."
