Davidsonville Park

"Davidsonville Park is a very nice, and well-maintained park used primarily for athletic fields for a little ones. They do have a playground to keep kids and families busy while practice or games are going on. They do a pretty good job of keeping the grass well-maintained."

"It was an okay place, if you like a paved relatively flat path to walk or bike. It's a little too uninteresting for us since we like more of a challenge and more of a woodsy feel to an actual hike. This was just a random walk in the park."

"Davidsonville park is very popular among Davidsonville and Annapolis residents. Bikers from Washington area come during week-ends to park their cars and ride bicycles on Anne Arundel roads (though in neglected condition). Most important - soccer, lacrosse and football tournaments for kids are held here on regular basis. Now, why I didn't rate park with 5 stars? Here is the reason - from both sides Davidsonville park is surrounded by two industrial enterprises. One is Brandywine Aggregate accepts construction trash from all Maryland - please see videos with stone crashing machine spreading stone dust to the park. On the other side of park is another cement drains factory. Davidsonville residents want to know AA county and MD Environment department opinion on such "neighborhood" where people come with kids for sporting events or simply for a walk in the park."

"Nice little stroll around the park, lots of wildlife, and flowers and things to see. Patapsco River accessible. Wonderful little lake too. Plenty of parking and fields for activities."

"Anne Arundel County Recreation Park with multiple athletic fields and paved walking path. Park is clean and manicured, leashed dogs welcome. The path is a great place to get your walk on, there are also a few foot paths around the park. When sports are in season it is a bit busy but parking is still good. If you want to take a relaxing stroll through the park It's better to do it without events going on. Get out and enjoy this free park!"
