"Very nice little art and performance center located in Greenbelt, MD. The shows are not too pricey and involve local artists. When you buy tickets, the office has a printout out to verify you purchased your ticket, you get your program and head on in! It is a very small intimate setting, so if it is a popular show, I recommend you get there at least 30 minutes prior (which may be the soonest you can get your ticket). I also recommend waiting at the door to the theater at least about 10 minutes in advance as people usually try to sit in the middle section; I actually had 2 cut in line while I was waiting, one woman was rather rude. I still got the seat I wanted, but still. So, be prepared for that, and remember that these days, worse than before, people are about themselves and have little to no manners. Such as during the performance, someone had a timer on a device that literally went off EVERY 5 minutes. It was extremely distracting, and you could tell people in the audience were getting upset. This should have been addressed by a manager or staff. I would go back depending on the show, just need to be a bit more proactive about the rude people that may be there :)"
"Best black box theater that is open to do shows from poignant to obscure."
"This is a wonderful little community theater where the audience is up close and surrounds the stage on 3 sides. "Motherhood out loud" was a fabulous relatable production that invokes every emotion as you journey together through parenting experiences."
"This is always a fun place to go and once again I had a wonderful time. If you like live theater up close and personal do yourself a favor and go. It is always different and always an adventure!"
"Enjoyed the show. Small but if you care about content more than about form, you won't regret the time spent here."
