"Nice stage and people there are nice. I have worked backstage for them in the booth and backstage to help the actors."
"Lots of fun participating in "Little Mermaid" as a pantomyme play. Loved how the audience is involved."
"I am impressed at the talent I saw when I went to the One Act Festival in September. Thanks to the director, the writers, the stage crew, the many wonderful actors, the ticket staff, and all involved. Cant wait 'til this weekend to see the second play in the "Bundle"."
"I have never seen a bad production here. The acting is always at least good and the plays are often provocative. I see maybe two or three a season. Ticket prices are very affordable esp compared with downtown theaters. Parking is chancy on the Colesville Rd side of the shopping center, easier in back. Access looks difficult for persons who don't do well on stairs, so call first to see if mgmt can help."
"A really great community theater that offers a very eclectic mix of shows, as well as great opportunities to get into the acting or backstage scene if you wish. I've been in five productions so far, directed one, and attended more than I can count. I thoroughly enjoyed being involved in the shows and getting to meet so many wonderful people, as well as contributing to the arts community. And all the shows I've seen have been really quite good! For such an affordable price, you get a great deal! (FYI: If you agree to usher a show, you get to see it for free.) The theater itself is very intimate and there's not a bad seat in the house (it seats around 120). It can be a little hot in the summer if they decide to turn the A/C off (it's loud and can drown out the actors sometimes) so dress in layers. Same goes for it being cold in the winter. There is plenty of parking available in front and behind the shopping center where the theater is housed, but if you can't find any, you can always park on the street in the neighborhood directly behind the shopping center. While it is not metro accessible, there are a few busses that drop off directly by the theater. If you're looking for a place to grab a drink before or after the show, across the street is Four Corners Pub. Definitely worth checking out. If you'd like to be in a show or help with ushering, backstage, lighting, sound, etc. check out their website and facebook page."
