Reviews of Hoyles Mill Conservation Park
"Love this trail for its ease of commute and still not frequented by too many people. Beautiful trail !"
"Hoyles Mill Trail offers beautiful streams, little bridges, and woodland foliage views. The main section of the trail passes through Hoyles Mill Conservation Park. It connects old and new Boyds communities. The extended trail section is narrower. It goes all the way to Black Hill Regional Park at one end and Maryland SoccerPlex at the other end, good for a day hike or mountain biking."
"This park has a nice little trail. It's early March at the moment, so it's very neutral-toned, but my husband and i both think the colors will be very vibrant once the spring rains come. Our dogs love it--though i highly recommend using flea and tick preventatives because of the grass--and once the little creeks aren't dry, it'll be even more fun to splash around in. Wildlife abounds, so please be careful with your pups. We saw a fox the other day, and some animal dens. There have been some bikers and other folks with dogs, but it doesn't seem crowded. All in all, a good park for walking or biking. We will be going back as the weather improves."
"I live right down the street and this is the perfect place for an afternoon walk with the dog. It's trails are very easy, lots of shaded wooded sections with a few meadows and a creek."
"This is a quiet gravel path through the forest. The highlight is the bridge with the sign explaining the ford that use to exist here. Pictures showing playgrounds are of ones near the parking trailhead. They are in the neighborhood and not associated with the conservation area. If the pictures give you a sense of a one stop shop for little kid family fun, this is not it. I would say this is a good path for joggers and bikers."
