"A good honest place is hard to find, unless u know someone, or have family in the business (we no longer do). I have lived in the neighborhood all my life so we know a ton of people, it was the day after xmas was nervous about finding a place. I called when my sons car was broke down needed a tow off 83 and had no where to take it, Googled clipper mill per my husband, spoke to JOSUE he said bring it in just like that, they fixed it thar week reasonable price. Fast forward to yesterday same car has a break fluid leak that was getting really bad called yesterday he fit him in for est. fixing today price seems reasonable..they are so nice, JOSUE has gone above and beyond to assist us. "I've gone here twice for two separate issues, and I feel a lot more honesty and trustworthiness compared with other places in Baltimore. Also, their prices are competitive compared with other places. Last time I went, the main mechanic (Josue) spent 20 minutes diagnosing an issue in my car which led to him providing me with some power-steering fluid. He did all of this free of charge, which left a really great impression on me. Overall I've had great experiences here and I recommend this place others!"

"I called to set up an appointment for them to check into a rough idle and an oil change and to call me about a tune up. When I dropped off the car I confirmed I wanted the rough idle looked at and oil change and to call me about the tune up and before they did anything. I confirmed with the guy I left my keys with they would call me and that I 100% needed the car back that evening. Right at 4:30 pm, after not hearing from them all day, I called to check in and they said they'd probably finish the next morning. I told them I confirmed in the morning that they could finish today. Thankfully they took me seriously and finished the car. However, when I showed up they had done over $450 dollars of tune up work that I expressly asked them to call me about. The guy that checked me out, different one from the morning, was aggressively not helpful and on the verge of blaming me for the morning guy not writing the ticket properly. He told me next time I have to make sure they write on the ticket to call me before they do work. I asked about the rough idle issue and if they looked into it and he said it's fine and they didn't. I went and started the car and it is still rough idling. I had a good experience with this shop last year but with a completely different mechanic so I thought I could trust them but they just royally screwed me today with their lack of communication and the $450 of unauthorized work. Also, any mechanic who does work indiscriminately on a 22 year old car is not someone you should go to. Does anyone know how to get in touch with the owner? I feel like that is who I talked to last year."
