"Ryan was a fantastic host. He is very knowledgeable about the area and told us several great places to visit. The house is comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay.I highly recommend his place.if I could give more stars I would."
"215 7th Street Franklin, PA 1Very comfortable and EXTRAORDINARILY CLEAN thanks to an extremely considerate host. You can tell immediately that Ryan cares greatly about his guests. Honestly, you should book right now before it's too late, but if you want to know more, please read on. My parents in their upper 70's, my sister, my husband and I planned a weekend trip to Franklin for the annual Applefest. Even before we arrived, the descriptive listing with tons of (accurate) pics, plus swift and concise communication with Ryan made it obvious that it would be a great stay. It only got better. You arrive to your own parking spots right in front marked by inviting signs that instantly make you feel special. From there it's a couple easy steps up onto the porch (solid handrails). At night the walkway is warmly illuminated by pretty solar powered lights. Ryan offered to meet us a little before check-in time. My husband and I got there a few minutes ahead of that, so we parked and headed straight onto the front porch. The seating is comfortable and the blinds are clever. We watched Ryan arrive, he saw our car, but what we did not realize was that he could not see us. The porch blinds, which are perfectly secured, allow you to see out clearly while providing total privacy from anyone looking in. That said, it's a dead-end street, so other than one or two boaters using the access point that is a stone's throw away, you do not see anyone. The super friendly people we did meet in passing were Ryan's parents (the apple does not fall far from the tree - they're great!). Once inside Ryan was eager to explain what we needed to know to enjoy the place to the max, plus answer all of our questions. Everything is laid out so thoughtfully and logically which takes away any guess work. There is a lot to be said about not having to spend any of your leisure time figuring out how to navigate your surroundings. It brings such peace of mind and lets you relax more deeply. (Admittedly, the unique, iron brain-teaser puzzles hanging next to the fridge were the only thing we couldn't figure out -- but had lots of fun trying!) Speaking of new levels, oh my goodness... CLEAN! CLEAN!! CLEAN!!! The degree of cleanliness is stunning. The place is impeccable and the feeling it creates is so incredibly calming and welcoming. The home is very well-equipped, yet not at all cluttered. There are so many thoughtful touches; filtered water dispenser (hot and cold), coffee and tea service (the nespresso station in the en suite feels so luxurious!), wireless bedside charging stations, little chocolate treats in each bedroom, night-lights, cozy beds, high-quality linens, plush towels, step stools (hardly needed, just nice knowing they're available), well-stocked supplies, an array of nice, kitchen appliances, pantry items, utensils, powerful dishwasher, Nest, simple keyless entry (physical key also available and prominently displayed), informational brochures, maps, illustrated directions, first-aid kit, and not to forget, Ryan's expertise just a quick text away! *BONUS* The two cruiser bikes are marvelous. And when we had to adjust the seats, Ryan appeared in seconds when an Allen wrench. Pedaling to and from town was simple. Make sure you stop by the riverfront park a block away. The light on the valley at dusk was astonishing! Sidenote: My dad took a little spill on the bike and the first-aid kit at our fingertips had exactly what we needed. Yet another way Ryan makes your stay so comfortable, easy, and safe :) Sure, it's a few blocks away from Fountain Park in the center of town, but it is worth every step along the sidewalks that are so well planned (they sit back a few feet from the road). Franklin has beautiful architecture and the town is thoughtfully planned that you will undoubtedly enjoy the walk. Did I mention clean? :) We can't wait for our next visit!6323"
"Our stay at the Allegheny Riverstone Rental really could not have been any better. It is clearly apparent the owner put a lot of thought into every single detail and item placed in the house. The bikes were a wonder bonus for us to use! Being along the river gives for a beautiful view and the proximity to the center of town is great for walking. We will definitely choose this house for future visits!"
