"This is an automechanics shop. As well as a Maryland Inspection station. Their service is great. Recently had a issue with a passenger hub assembly. 3 other places quoted me the absolute highest price without offering options or alternatives. Ed at B&E took time to research parts, new and remanufactured and called me back with 2 prices. I'm telling you this is where you go if you value your car,time and money."

"Was stranded @ South Mountain Welcome Center off of 70 West 8-15-22 for 5 hrs cause noone came from AAA. All they gave me was false promises! So I called 40 West Auto, & requested their help to tow to A & E. They were able to call me the next day with the estimate & the day my Lincoln Town car would be ready for pickup. That was Friday 8-12-22! Jason was wonderful. Everything promised was completed! A very reliable local business."

"We took our kids 2004 Malibu in to have a belt and the gas tank fixed. This is a starter car for them and other than these two issues the car is in good shape. I am and always have been skeptical of mechanics. Only because I am not familiar with vehicles so I would never know if I’m being ripped off. These guys are great! Honest! Professional! My husband and I were beyond pleased. The car is a 2004 so we did not want to put thousands into a vehicle that was worth a fraction of that. They respected this and did everything they could to accommodate our requests. Quick turn around too. We’ve been wanting to find a mechanic to service our regular services and I am thrilled to say I found one. I look forward to working with these guys in the future!"
