"Sadly, my family needed the services provided by McComas Celebration of Life Center. The venue is not only bright and lovely it allowed for our guests to gather in intimate to large groups providing them the opportunity to both shed tears and laughter. Working with Amy was a blessing which made a tough day - easy. The food provided by their preferred caterer Acappella was outstanding. The menu suggestions are very simple, amazing REAL FOOD that is delicious, we ordered the Alfredo and Eggplant Parm. They donate leftovers to near by first responders, I do suggest you take home a few leftovers - it is that good."

"My family chose McComas in Jarrettsville, MD for our father's funeral in August. Each staff member we encountered treated us and the process with respect, dignity, and kindness. We worked with Cora as our funeral director and she was patient with us as we chose each detail for the viewing and funeral. We felt our father's Catholic religion was honored each step of the way. In addition, we loved to see how his service in the Air Force was honored. From the flag at the burial service, honor guard, and notations on the hearse, we were grateful to remember his service in the military. In addition, we were comforted by Amy who helped with all of our questions and made sure each detail was taken care of and we had no worries. It was also a nice memory for us to be able to play dad's music in the viewing room. Along with the slideshow of photos, the music kept his memory alive for us and our family and friends. In a word, our dad's funeral was flawless. We have been in continued contact with McComas in follow up to ensure that all of our expectations have been met. What a blessing they were to us in a time of sadness when we were looking for people to care and comfort us."

Within a short time, I then needed to have the memorial service! The people at McComas Funeral Home were fantastic every step of the way!
