"i had a great experience, my personal training is liz & she is really nice & does a great job at teaching me."
"I am from CA and we were members of Crunch over there. Those gyms were not even close to how nice this one is! There are plenty of treadmills even at peak gym time. The squat racks you might have to wait for if you come at 5pm, but that is to be expected. My favorite time to come is around 6am because there are some people there so it’s not an empty ghost town, but all the equipment you will need is open. I also take the classes on occasion and they have the fanciest spin bikes LOL. They have a digital screen on them to show all your stats like mileage, calories burned, gear, etc. The HIIT classes are my favorite though. There is a special HIIT zone to do the class and you cycle through different stations. There is every level of ability doing these classes so don’t be afraid! I also loved doing their kickboxing classes. They have a box of gloves you can use if you don’t have your own. Then, you get to punch and kick the bags even if you don’t know how to (like me) they will teach you. We also had some funky stuff with our old memberships and they were patient and understanding getting all the info they needed to switch us. 10/10 would recommend this gym!"
"So I call and ask if they except my insurance for compensation as payment for a membership. I spoke to Phil. He says, " Ya, buddy! Come on in." Now I called ahead because of the reviews regarding cancelation of the membership. Why take a chance? So I two step to the Mall, enter the facility and am greeted by a very pleasant young woman. Get the tour, all the while she's doing great pitching the upsell of amenities available. Get back to the counter and she was unable to process my insurance. No problem, the "Y" had a little difficulty 3 years ago when I joined. Phone rings and it's an individual with the complaint of cancelation some months prior but still having the deduction from their account. Ten minutes later she ask, who I assume was the manager, for assistance. Now this cat was at the counter the whole time coaching her on the process of billing my insurance, he takes the call and the process continues for me. The poor woman is stymied and ask if he can complete the transaction. He taps a couple keys and tells me we have to contact customer service. He then proceeds to write the number down for me. The number is on the back of my card, I don't need it. I asked if he couldn't resolve it at the counter. Want to guess his response. So I just got off the phone with my carrier and was made aware that there shouldn't have been an issue. So that's my experience. He's either a very poor salesman or a very good one. Either way, like I said, "Why take the chance?"."
"Great place to workout! Cardio machines, weight machines, free weights, heavy bags, power lifting, classes, personal trainers; this place has it all! Whether you’re a novice or a hard charger, you’ll love this place. They even have free indoor parking. Check it out."
"Huge gym, love this place. There is tanning and massages. There is cardio, elliptical, treadmills, steppers, etc. There are classes such as spinning. There are personal trainers that are additional money. There are tons of free weights. There is a large blue turf area to push the sled, do ropes, back squat. There are kettle bells. There is an incline press and flat bench. It's a great gym. Only downfall is that it's in the Steamtown mall, it's so run down"
