"A great playground with amazing climbing equipment for older kids (5 and up or so) that still has equally fun options for younger ones! The park has signs and themes related to black history, which is educational even for many adults. Everything from outdoor musical equipment to a roller slide for the littler ones to but climbing structures and tall slides for the older ones. Plenty of seating and trash cans. Clean indoor bathrooms, too. Limited shade is the only downside."

"This is such an amazing park. Sooo many things to climb on and let kids just be kids. I love the rubber ground and how convenient and close the bathrooms are to the playground."

"My husband and I agreed this is the best playground we've ever seen! The bigger playground has some areas that involve risky play but it's challenging to get to them which keeps young kids safe. Smaller kids at one year and up enjoyed the smaller playground which had a lot of cool features such as musical memory games, a roller slide, and a wheel to spin that gives an action. They even had a merry go round! The playground is huge with lots of fun things to do, and all the families there were very nice. Overall it was a great community with kids between 1-15 all playing happily. There is also a creek nearby, lots of grass to run and play games in, a covered pavilion of picnic tables, grills, and Adirondack chairs and tables for adults to watch kids play. Additionally we learned so much about Black History and contributions to the USA and modern society. There are educational signs and historically themed structures for kids to climb."

"This is a beautiful new park with wonderful equipment and fantastic educational opportunities. This is one of the best playgrounds we’ve ever been to. We enjoyed learning about famous historical figures of the US while also having fun running around. There are clean public restrooms, a picnic pavilion and tons of playground equipment."

"Awesome new park. Interesting exhibits on African American history. Two main play structures. One small for toddlers/Pre-K and one large one for older kids. Great big tube slides. No regular swing set. There's a dish swing and a standup swing thing. My kids loved it."
