"The location is beautiful. We stayed last April on our way to in Virginia Beach. We only stayed one night but our site was appropriate, staff was courteous and helpful. We wish we had spent more time there!"
"This is one of my favorite campgrounds! It is always a good time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are cleaned regularly. Most of the campers that go here are also friendly. If you have little kids they have plenty for them to do to stay busy."
"We were in K105 the second year in a row. The bathroom faucet only had hot water, no cold. There were lights out. The mattress needs replaced. The only short cut to get to the cabin is behind the registration building and down a hill. It’s dangerous for seniors to navigate that hill. Steps would really help. There was no heat or maybe we just couldn’t find it. The activities for my grandchildren were great except the hayride which was free so I guess we shouldn’t complain. A big disappointment is by Friday all cabins were booked for next year! At the end of our stay last year 10/2022 we were able to book several cabins for this year 2023. When we asked about that the staff said we were just lucky so this year we were not able to book. When I asked staff when we should start calling to try to hope for cancellations she had no answer."
"Very nice campground. Hope to return in the future. Wonderful view of the mountains. We had site #30. Some sites are a little tight but we had enough room to enjoy our stay. Pool was large and clean. Very close to the Harpers Ferry attractions. Camp store was very nice and all the people that work there were extremely nice too. The Wifi here was fantastic which is rare for most campgrounds. This KOA is worth the visit."
"I rented a tent site for 1 night and was able to check-in before 1pm. This was my 1st camping trip and the staff was friendly and helpful. I visited all the amenities and spent time in the game room. Some activities were unavailable or closed during my mid-week stay (movie theater, pillow jump). The comfort station was clean and well stocked with toilet paper and hand soap. I also enjoyed the pancakes."
