Giovanni's New York Pizza 134 Eagle School Road, Martinsburg, WV 25404

"I really wanted to love this place but I can't as of yet. I called for a delivery order and the owner did accommodate me even though they technically did not deliver. That was absolutely going above and beyond. However, I ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Well done! What I got was a large half pepperoni half mushroom pizza. I also notice that it was extremely burnt on the bottom and way too much attached semolina. It was way past well done on the bottom and not on the top. Maybe the oven is off a little. The wings he raved about were so overcooked that they were not enjoyable due to having a lot of dried out spots. For $40 for a pizza and wings and a $10 tip you would expect a little better quality. There was barely any sauce on the pizza itself. The cheese however, was delicious and there was very few and far between mushrooms or pepperoni. I think I would like to try this place again in the future, but they definitely need to work on some things. The owner is an absolute gem and as long as he doesn't get crushed by the business and the Cranky people in the world he will do good. He just needs to get his feet straight and get his business down pat. Good luck and maybe sometime down the line I will try again once everything is worked out."

"I ordered the Meatlovers Cauliflower Crust Pizza and it is the BEST pizza I’ve ever had! OH MY GOODNESS! So so good, didn’t spike my blood sugar, super fresh and super delicious! So happy to have found a place where I can enjoy pizza while being diabetic! Thank you so much, also my mom raves about your chicken cheesesteak sub! We will definitely be back! "We tried their pizza right after they re opened....wasn't impressed. Then I remembered that they need a little time to get their feet wet. We decided to.try their pizza again today. I called in my order. The lady that answered was very nice and professional. She took my order and told me the total and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later. The pizza was ready as promised. The same lady took care of ringing up my order. Still very friendly and professional. Got home, opened the box and immediately I knew it was going to be much better than the pizza we had gotten when they first opened. It was really good. The price was appropriate for the order. I'm officially a fan of Giovannis again."

"First time here. We got a large mushroom pizza. 12 minutes from the time we ordered. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is open and clean. We got the pizza home the sauce was good. The crust was baked just right. They make there own dough there, which I like. The dough was good also. My only complaint was the were a little skimpy with the mushrooms. By the way the mushrooms were fresh. Over all I would suggest and or recommend them for a good pizza. I will update ss we try other items on there menu. Stromboli will be next."
