"Most Dollar General stores in both Somerset & Cambria county are packed so extremely tight with merchandise that a wheelchair customer like myself can hardly get around in the store. This is NOT the case in Salisbury, Somerset county in PA! I could easily roll around getting items I needed and really enjoy the shopping environment!! It was an extremely hot & muggy day outside, but the handicap parking was in an excellent location!! Plus with out the wheelchair stress; I achieved my shopping list with ease and was extremely happy with the entire shopping experience!! When I need something from a Dollar General store; I'll plan it on one of the days my Son is working out there. My family is a paycheck to paycheck family, so we need stores like Dollar General!"

"Definitely don't recommend. HORRIBLE!! My dad went here the day after they officially opened and had to stand at the counter waiting for a cashier to ring him up for 12 minutes while they stood outside smoking their cigarettes. My dad had to physically walk out and ask them if any one even works there. Note that this is on his lunch break and he had to be back at work a certain time. You would think they would be smart enough to have one of them stay in and run the cash register while the other one smokes. After my father then confronted them they said they was watching but couldn't quite see because of a glare in the doors. Although, my dad was standing their waiting patiently for 12 minutes and they never turned around or checked once. Won't be getting our business anymore. It's a shame it's a store and the people who work their can't even do their jobs! Customer service should be your #1 priority when you work really anywhere. It's a shame they were too lazy smoking their cigarettes to put them out and come take care of their customers."
