"IF ANYONE READS NO OTHER REVIEWS, READ THIS ONE!!! BEWARE! I have never been so upset by a place of business. To say Meegan Ford has terrible mechanics and even more terrible customer service skills is a SEVERE understatement. My Ford Explorer has now been in their shop THREE separate times for the SAME issue with THREE separate diagnoses - a terrible squeaking sound coming from the back end when I drive on uneven terrain, over any bump, or when you simply push down on the rear bumper - the sound is annoyingly evident. The 1st time, “nothing” was wrong with the vehicle. We weren’t charged for anything. Fair enough. Obviously, the sound continued. The 2nd time, (about 6 weeks later aka whenever we couldn’t stand the sound for any longer) we were quoted around $900 to fix the issue which was now caused by control arms and tie rod ends. Again, fair enough, but obviously this needed repair was overlooked at our first service a few weeks prior. Remember, were quoted around $900 for the repairs. Meegan calls the day after Christmas to let us know the car is done and we owe them ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS MORE than what we were quoted. Hmm, how did that happen you ask? I guess the car suddenly also needed new shocks and springs!!! We were NEVER contacted about the need for any additional parts, let alone how much more we would potentially be charged. At this point, we’re starting to feel taken advantage of. What a great thing to do to a repeat customer with several vehicles the day after Christmas. Again, fair enough. The delivery was unacceptable, but the sound still needed fixed regardless. Within the 2 miles it took for me to drive my car off the lot before I pulled into my house, THE SOUND WAS STILL THERE!!! This brings us to the 3rd time that my car is back in their shop… feeling very confident they would make this whole mess right at this point. I mean there’s no way they wouldn’t be extremely accommodating after all we’ve just put up with. This time, it’s not “nothing”, it’s not the control arms, or the tie rod ends, or the shocks, or the springs. IT’S THE BUSHINGS!!! Thank goodness they’re willing to fix it for us for a cool $700, though! ZERO help from anyone employed there or the management team. Do not take your vehicle here if you’re looking for efficiency, competency, reliability, or just basic respect. If Google allowed negative star reviews, Meegan would get that from me. I’m eager to see how they reply to my review.. probably with something like “it is our goal to provide a great experience….” blah blah blah. They were given MULTIPLE opportunities to make things right, but continued bill and bill us for unneeded repairs and never once took accountability for their oversights or mistakes. Don’t let their reply on a bad Google review make you feel like they have any decency. They DO NOT. ***EDIT*** Quickly after I posted this review, they called to say they would fix the car for free if the bad review got taken down. (Squeaking wheel, right?? Absolutely no pun intended). I’M ALL FOR A GOOD BRIBE, but here’s the kicker. We just got the car back yesterday and it’s STILL making the same noise. It’s laughable at this point. This continuous back and forth has gotten us nowhere with the issue and we will not be taking the vehicle or any other vehicles there again. I have a pretty good feeling that they took the car back to tell us they would fix it for no charge just so the review got taken down, then let it sit on the lot and didn’t replace a thing. Again, everyone beware of Meegan Ford. Save yourself the hassle and go anywhere else or have your toddler try to fix the issue."
