"It's very difficult to get all of the issues gathered for one post. I was referred to this shop for extensive work to be completed on my car, which took a few weeks longer than initially quoted, just to complete what Bobby and I agreed on prior to delivery to his shop. He worked"OK" with me through the process and I had taken his advice on several replacement parts and ordered them for "him", to make it easier for "him", since he was so busy with other customers and I figured, that since my car was already in a shop and is over 20 years old, I'd allow his shop to do, other than engine, work, again, the communication was scarce, but, when I was able to speak with him, it seemed asif he cared. All said and done, my final bill came to over$6k and I paid it "thinking" that At this point, he would ensure my satisfaction, but, assoon as issues started to happen and the photos proved the issues to be "neglect", he stopped answering/returning calls. When I asked for items that were taken from the interior of the car, he admitted that his guys removed the items, but, forgot to return them, he previously agreed to ship the items to me, but, never did. Now,I am having codes pop up, on items that he or his shop supposedly replaced with brand new parts, that I personally purchased. Very disappointed, to say the least, I went to this shop after long debates of trusting someone, other than me, to work on my car and now, it won't even run. I advise against using this shop for any trusted work."

"Been dealing with them for about 3 months now, we own several pro masters and our old place that use to work on our vehicles were breaking down all the time. Now that we've been taking our vehicles here and they have been fixing all the issues that the other place didn't repair and a lot of it could have been dangerous to our drivers. "Mid January, 2023, my family and I were diving cross country from Maryland to Indiana, when our engine light came on, and our Expedition started running very rough. I looked on Google and called the closest mechanic I could, which was Steel City. I later found out the number was the owner's (Bobby's) personal cell phone, and he told me to come right away and he'd take a look. When I got there, he and his team were obviously working on many other vehicles in their shop (which was packed with vehicles, in addition to all the other customer vehicles surrounding the building), but he and one of his mechanics went outside in the drizzle and cold to look at my struggling SUV. They diagnosed the problem quickly, and got right to work fixing it. Eight spark plugs, an ignition coil, and 2 hours later, they had everything put back together and even road tested. Bobby was also very open, honest, and fair with his pricing. I almost wish I lived closer or he lived closer to me so I could have a reliable mechanic nearby! Bobby and Steel City really saved us on our road trip."
