"I have used gkn auto for several years for all of my family autos. Several times throughout , there have been issues with quality of repair, but never pricing. This time it involved a loose bolt that holds the rotor to the axle and not using the hardware shims between the pads and caliper bracket that holds them, and it ruined the new rotor and brake pad that Greg installed. I asked him to take a look at it after strange brake noises many months but only 200-300miles after the brake service and was told that he was to busy to look at it that week and the next, due to a "big job", so I went elsewhere. If you include the pads and rotors installed by him and the replacment parts/labor, this is an almost $800 mistake. His prices have always been much cheaper than most, but this is obviously not worth it...."
