Reviews of Monkey Business Adventure Park
"Great place to take the kids to do the ropes course which includes two zip lines and four levels of rope courses. The guides were courteous, knowledgeable and encouraging. Downstairs there is axe throwing, need to get out some tension this is your place."
"I am just now coming down from my adrenaline high, I loved every second of it all. I first went on the zigzag Zipline with my sister, it was a nice and easy rush. So fun to just experience. Then I did a tier 1 of the course. It was a fun little rush. Easy to understand the safety gear. The obstacles were quite easy on the first tier. I would have done more, but I didn't wish to push my limits, as by then, due to the heat, I was worried I would become dehydrated. As I was finishing up with the Zipline, I saw a deer also trying the course on the ground, while its baby was in the grass near by."
"It is pricey, but we had a great time. One of my boys turned 11, so off we went with a pack of 7 young boys of various ages and sizes. Our guide was great, plus we had nice conversations with others. A couple boys needed more attention at the transitions and our guide was really good with them. He worked hard running back and forth with the boys to help them. Our only disappointment was we got stuck twice in traffic jams of people which meant a fair amount of idle time on two of the platforms, but things rarely go perfect so we'll stick with the 5 stars due to great guides and the boys had a blast, especially on the zip lines! Also, the views of the lake are amazing."
"The whole family had a great time here. Pricey, but you get a lot for your money; the course takes hours. Staff was friendly and helpful and the course was creative and challenging. The only downside we had was that the kids didn't get the zip line ride down that I paid for. I don't think the staff realized that I had paid for the ride down. (I was babysitting and didn't do the course.) It would be better if the staff had an easy way to see who purchased the zip line down."
"Would’ve totally been a 5 star rating if it weren’t for two important reasons- 1: the staff working the day I visited couldn’t care less for a decent instruction of properly using the equipment. Safety was not of their concern.... was more of “where is someone who can do this for me” . The correct instructions came only when we were stuck at the top of the course, and by a course “guide” who clearly didn’t want to be there. He sat at one point in the course and only barked orders, expecting a novice and a child to know the correct terminology of each specific component and their usage.... all without any instruction. Second star reduction came from the pricing. Though I do not know of the cost to operate such a place, I’ve heard it is a new operation and I can understand pricing reflecting cost of starting such an operation to a point, however... $160 for two people was astonishing considering the lack of dedication by the staff, and the fact that it didn’t last anywhere near the stated 3hr timeframe. All in all I enjoyed the experience of the facility, but sadly cannot recommend it at this point in its infancy due to these concerns. The climbing was a challenge on the third tier, first level is for children, level two could be said it’s for teenagers, and level three is for anyone seeking to have a challenge. Folks at monkey business: please ensure your staff is dedicated to the experience and safety - even though you have patrons sign their life away prior to embarking."
