"Very friendly owner. Looks to be mostly take-out. Lamb gyro was very good, and fries excellent."
"Great pizza! Clean and well kept store. We get take out from here often."
"We order half pepperoni and half Hawaiian. We like it the crush is so good and they loaded with meat... Awesome."
"***EDIT***: The owner actually called me later in the evening and we were able to discuss the issue. Both of us were able to gain perspective on where the other was coming from and he even offered a free pizza for next time if I wanted. I appreciate this follow up in communication from the owner and know he is working to do his best. Terrible, terrible customer service. I ordered through Slice and instead of calling to say they wouldn’t deliver it, they said it was delivered. When I called to clarify, the gentleman who answered was rude, interrupted constantly, and refused to deliver my order."
"I'm surprised that I haven't tried Nonni's yet, given I used to drive by this area all the time. An acquaintance of mine recommend I stop by and even said this was his favorite pizza. I was skeptical given the relatively low ratings, but glad I gave them a try. I ordered the cheese calzone (medium) and baklava. The calzone was fairly priced (not cheap though) for the portion. They serve it with some marinara sauce on the side and also some tomato sauce on the inside. It wasn't too soggy but it also didn't have much crunch. The dough was just okay. I got a few pieces of tomato skin inside the calzone, but that's not a big deal. The marinara sauce was subpar. I'm not sure if it is homemade. In any case, it was completely cold when we picked up the pizza. Seemed like they just took the sauce out of a jar from the fridge, not even bothering to reheat it. The cheese in the calzone was quite good, though. This ricotta was very creamy and almost spreadable; it's not chunky or milky like in other places. Good amount of mozzarella too. The baklava was cheap for the portion. It wasn't very well soaked or as sweet as I would have liked it to be. Again, not sure if it is homemade (honestly doubt it, and doubt that any of the desserts are homemade but I could be wrong). But again, it's fine for the price. All in all, Nonni's is an okay option for those pizza and Italian American food lovers in Blawnox. Some of the food is a bit subpar, but the prices are competitive and the food is quickly made."
