"I’ve tried five different specialty pizzas here, and each one has been fantastic! Highly recommended, the quality of the pizza and ingredients is excellent, plus they have some great options for vegans and vegetarians. My favorite so far has been the hot chicken, but the veggie, and black garlic white are also fantastic. On top of the food quality, it’s a really wonderful third space with tons of board games, comfortable places to relax with friends or make new friends, and weekly events like karaoke and Jackbox nights. It feels increasingly rare to have a non-bar space like this, so I’m really happy it’s in our neighborhood."

"We were visiting my son in Pittsburgh. As he is a table top gamer and always wanted to try Black Lotus Pizza as all the reviews were super positive. We weren't disappointed. The crew was great and the atmosphere was amenable to serious gameplay. The pizza and honey chicken wings were the total bomb. I highly recommend this place for good food and tabletop gameplay fun. They have lots of games to check out and to sell as well."

"Extremely underrated and overlooked pizza place! This is seriously one of the best white pizzas I've ever had. And, they were offering $5 off for takeout and $10 off on Uber Eats. The prices were already quite reasonable. I tried their black garlic white pizza, fried dough, and an extreme chocolate chip cookie. That white pizza was so good! I got a medium 13" and it was definitely quite large. The white sauce they use is so flavorful and savory. I can understand why some say it's too rich, but I found it perfect. It's a bit similar to Alfredo sauce, but not quite the same. Creamy, salty, amazing. The garlic flavor isn't too strong, which is what I hoped. It's got some nice herbs as well. Their thin crust is actually quite thin and crispy! Many other places don't make thin crust this perfectly. Their crust is also way better than any place I've tried recently. It's crunchy, crispy, a bit buttery, cheesy, amazing. Their cheese is high quality as well. I wasn't too impressed by the fried dough, but it was still good. The dough is similar to the delicious stuff they make the pizza with, so can't go wrong. They serve it with chocolate syrup and powdered sugar. Good portion for price. I'm pretty sure they used Hershey syrup, though, and I'm just not a fan of that stuff. It paired well with my leftover jam though. I thought they made a great chocolate chip cookie. They are definitely generous with how much chocolate they use! I especially enjoyed the cookie when it was warmed. I'd definitely recommend trying it; just an extra $2.50. Although I haven't had a sit down meal here, I've heard they don't get too crowded at lunch time, so that is nice. They also offer games and other activities, too. All in all, I'm surprised this place doesn't get much attention. It deserves praise, and their white pizza is some of the best in the area. Their cookies are quite good too."
