"We recently brought our leased Hyundai Santa Fe in for a scheduled maintenance appointment. It took three phone calls to make the appointment because messages we left were never returned and then when we reached someone she did not know how to schedule us. We came in for the appointment that was supposed to take 1-2 hours, but ended up being 3 - We can understand this considering everyone is experiencing staff shortages. As we were checking out we asked to please be sure we had a sticker on the windshield showing when our next oil change was due but, of course, it was not on the windshield so I had to run in to request it again. We made a stop after that and had to open the hatch to place a large item inside. We noticed the package for the locking lug nuts for our tires was laying in the back rather than in the glove box where they found it initially. We then noted that the key needed to unlock the lug nuts was not in the package. We called and after several minutes were able to speak with an employee to find out where it was. They looked around and then indicated they had it there. I told them we needed them to mail it to us because they are located 40 minutes from our home. A week later we still had not received it in the mail so we called again and were told that they stil had it there but that they had been so busy they did not have time to mail it to us. They then said they would try to mail it out that day but we were going to run an errand in that direction so we ended up making another trip to their location. When we arrived the service tech who had worked on the car - the same one who did not put the sticker on the windshield and the same one who neglected to put the lug nut key back in the package and put the entire package back where it belonged - walked in behind me and as I started to speak to indicate who I was he walked over to a credenza and unearthed the envelope from beneath a pile of papers. He never spoke to me and certainly never apologized to me for the error or inconvenience he caused us. Since that visit we have been receiving emails every few days saying that we are late with several aspects of our car care. I have left a message asking them to please update our record but have not heard anything from them. On a side note, while there that day we noticed 5+ sales personnel just standing around in a cluster waiting for customers to appear. A litte cross training might make things run a bit smoother at this location."
