"Staff at Palmiero were polite and patient. Most of my needs were met with a tutorial to understand the vehicle. I will have difficulty with the insistence that I be there at 8:15 AM. I live about 40 minutes away, around 30 miles one way. I am retired. Early morning is very difficult for me, especially so far away. I have been driving for 58 years. I have NEVER encountered an auto service center before that could not accommodate a time that worked for me. Over the phone I said I could not be there that early and they reluctantly agree to between 9 and 10. That morning I got a text message saying my appointment was 8:15. On the way there I got a text message saying I had missed my appointment and needed to call to reschedule. I do need to apologize for being upset when I arrived. It was not my best moment. BUT, why are you sending automated text messages that are not accurate, are impersonal and upsetting? The only thing that needed done to my car was a check and rotating the tires. I do not need a rental for that. The car is only 5 months old. They had me scheduled for a rental, which meant another long trip on another day. The only thing important seems to be the convenience of the garage. The convenience of the customer, or inability of the customer to accommodate the garage's rules does not seem to be a priority. Perhaps I need to better understand how you operate. My suggestion is to observe Honda garages. Their service is outstanding. That said, I do love my Toyota Sienna and hope we can work something out that works for me as well as the garage. I would be willing to talk and try to understand your system. "I did purchase a car from them that had an issue right from the jump.. they did continue to take it into the shop at their cost over the course of 6 months after having it. Although a little bummed it took that long to finally have it resolved. They did fix the issue as far as I’m concerned for now and I got an express detail there that turned out amazing!
