"It was amazing to meet Doug at his shop next to Pitt Race this past weekend for a NASA time trial event. I ran into a couple major issues with my 370z race car after the warm up session on Saturday. After working on the car for a couple of hours myself with a friend, I thought that my weekend was over, and I would be loading everything up and taking my car back to Maryland. I asked around the paddock, and someone mentioned taking it down the hill to Doug at Race Protocol. He wrapped up what he was working on and dove right in. He kept me informed throughout the process. He was able to quickly obtain all needed parts. The work involved welding and taking apart a significant portion of the rear of the car. He showed great determination to get my car ready for my 8:45 time trial session on Sunday morning, while at the same time showing impeccable attention to detail, and doing things the right way. He had the car ready for me to pick up at 7:30 on Sunday morning, and everything ran flawlessly for all of my Sunday sessions. All of that great service at a very reasonable price. He could have easily taken advantage of my desperation to get my car back on track that weekend, but he did not at all. This guy showed that he genuinely cares about his customers. **Edit: One thing that I did not initially put in my review mostly, because it would not be fair to Doug for anyone to expect him to do it regularly is that he stayed up working on my car until 2:30 AM on Sunday morning for me to have it ready for my first session. To me that makes it even more amazing that he was more than fair on price. I do not know that I have ever met anyone with his knowledge and skill level combined with that work ethic."
