"Went there to buy tires for someone in need and said we don't have much, but I asked if I could poke through the pile and he agreed. After about 20 minutes I set some tires aside that I wanted and he comes over and asks what I'm doing with the tires. I didn't know how to answer, what do most people do with tires? I mistakenly said sell them. Never mind that I'm not making anything on them, just on installing them. He said "Do me a favor, put these tires back in the pile, get in your truck and leave. You're on private property and I can tell you to leave if I don't want you here." Oooookay, if that's what you want. "Yes, that's what I want". If it's any consolation I dealt with the son before and he was fine. But the old man needs to go retire and be happy."
"Im hunting specific older van parts im calling all local Junk yards this guy answers his phone "What Do You Want " Then i had replied "Sorry i believe i have the wrong number im trying to reach Grubbs Auto and salvage" then he goes on to say and before i could even finish this one small sentence he cuts me off mid flow and hits me with the what do i want question again and felt the need to tell me about some customer thats infront of him .... Wow is all i can say i have spoke to 13 different junk yards today already calling around and this is by far the most unprofessional experiance i think i have ever had in my life so here my warning don't deal with this man I do find humor in the fact that theres no doubt in my mind he had some customer wanting tires or something haha Meanwhile im sitting here with thousands of dollars trying to find oarts to buy for vans ..."
"Experts in metal very educated and professional on various metals. Great place to visit for parts. Just be patient its a family run business with little staff. So be prepared to wait from 5 minutes to a half hour."
"THIS GUY IS A CLOWN! EMPLOYEES ARE GREAT BUT THE OWNER NEEDS A REALITY CHECK. GUY IS A COMPLETE JERK. RUDE TO ME AND OTHER PEOPLE I KNOW THAT GOES THERE. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. IT IS A JOKE. I KNOW PEOPLE THAT GO THERE AND SAY THE OWNER EVEN MESSES WITH THE WEIGHT ON THE SCALE."
"The owner was a complete jerk to me just now because I didn't part in the "right" spot. He continued to call me a idiot and told me to use my brains and was super rude. I would NOT recommend these people to my worst enemy."
