"Very pretty park. The tennis/pickle ball court area was a nice setting for a craft show but behind the courts under the trees was sooooo dirty and buggy. Thankfully we had a bug lantern. Had to wash our feet and sandals after packing up before we could go for dinner."
"Great local park with lots of trees and shade around the playground area. No swings, but a nice sized play area with lots of slides, monkey bars, etc. The story walk is also nice to visit, and the book changes monthly. The cabin is another nice bonus here! I had never been inside before but after seeing some pictures from a baby shower that my coworker hosted there, decided to go ahead and rent it for my son’s birthday party. It worked great!! For $100 we had access for the whole day, with the playground just across the parking lot. The kids had a great time being able to play outside, and the cabin was the perfect place to handle food and gifts, and enjoy the AC. (Seriously, the AC in this cabin was AMAZING — it must be a new system because it was cooler than my house!!) The upper area of the cabin is a basic painted block room with hardwood floors and plenty of tables/chairs that can be set up. It was more than enough space for a party of about 25. Downstairs was a little rougher. There was a kitchen area with older appliances. (The fridge is the only one we used, and it work just fine.) There were bathrooms too, which were clean enough but definitely not fancy — 100% carried the feel of typical park bathrooms.) Cleanup was super easy. The park department just asks you to bag up all the trash and leave it inside, then they come take it away the next morning."
"It's okay for a small playground area. It could use more shade. It does have big fields for sports and a tennis court. Consession stand during games."
"Still one of my favorite parks. Not too big not too small. Nice driveway and parking lot. Soccer fields. Playground. Little free library. Restrooms (need cleaned badly though). Pavilion. Great views."
"Never knew this park existed in all my time living in the area. It's really cute. Offers a good selection of things from a playground for the kids, and a tennis court as well. I love the little walking trail they have. Especially with the little headers they have on the walk. It's super close to the mall, too!"
