"The store is complete dump and practically empty. You spend more time at checkout with people not knowing what they’re are doing. I’ve been to this place two times and both times had an awful awful experience. Cashiers not knowing what they are doing, how to count change, or not caring and other people playing on their phones not helping at all. Found something on sale and when it rang in the cashier said it wasn’t on sale. The freaking sale sign was in plain sight and he said it wasn’t because it didn’t ring in that way so even though the sign said one Thing he wouldn’t honor it. Spent another 5 minutes waiting for the person to remove it off the ticket. So both times a 5 minute run in the store turned into a 20 minute checkout process. How this place is still in business is beyond me."
"Hooksett NH has had a Kmart store since the early 70's. I needed some energy drinks so I decided to hit up the local Kmart. Needless to say I was underwhelmed. It's obvious that the chain is hurting. The store was well maintained and clean but it's very 1990s when you stepped through the door. The Vintage 1990s feel was amusing and in line with the average age of their current customer base. I did not see anybody under the age of 50 walking around inside of that store. Certain departments were well-stocked While others did not have much at all. If you're looking for electronics try somewhere else however Home Goods, toys and appliances were very well stocked. The biggest problem I ran into was the cashiers attempt to try and get me into their rewards program. I have zero interest joining a Rewards program for department store that may not exist in two years or less. This Kmart coexist with a very large Target and Walmart only 2 miles away. The Walmart used to be almost on top of the Kmart store before building a big supercenter and yet this Kmart still survives. It's one of a handful left in New Hampshire that has not closed. If you need housewares or appliances I would suggest checking out Kmart. For anything else run the other way and don't look back. It's clear that the entire chain is more or less on life support right now."
"I have never had a good experience at this Kmart. The employees are rude and seem to hate their jobs. I was at checkout a few months ago, and I had a question about the incredibley confusing rewards program. The cashier snapped at me when I asked her about a $10 reward I should have had on my account, and when she finally decided to call a supervisor over for assistance, she made sure to roll her eyes and sigh several times and loudly apologize to everyone in line behind me for the inconvenience. Then, last week, I came in to return an item I had bought the day before and to exchange it for something slightly different. Tanya at the service desk was incredibly rude to me and talked to me like I was an idiot because I asked her a question about the rewards program and why my refund was significantly less than what I had paid in cash for the item. The only friendly employee I ever encountered at this Kmart is Alicia, but I don't believe she works there anymore. This store is also old and falling apart, and everything smells like mothballs and dust. Target has a lot of the same items for a lower price, plus their stores are a lot cleaner and the employees are a lot friendlier."
"I always enjoy shopping at this Kmart. It's usually well stocked and the prices are competitive. It's nostalgic in look and style but it's clean and well maintained. Kmart always has some great seasonal items like back to school, Halloween and Christmas. The rewards program with Shop Your Way Points is great and often leads to great discounts at checkout. Most of the employees are helpful and pleasant. A nice store for southern central NH."
"I like shopping at this Kmart. It's an older store, but It's clean and well organized. The employees are always very kind and helpful. I think they're doing an outstanding job with what they're given. Since Sears has merged with Kmart, I can find many things without going to the mall i.e. furniture, appliances, tools, automotive, etc."
