"This happened April 2023 but I'm still peeved about it. I went into the store to buy a new prepaid phone with my toddler, I checked next door at Walmart first to see if they had the type of phone I was looking for as I had a previous bad experience at this store right after my daughter was born so I wanted to avoid if possible. Needless to say Walmart didn't have a good enough prepaid phone. I went in just looking to get a new phone and nothing else, the manager asked me how much I was paying for my prepaid phone and I said it was $55 for unlimited (59.60 with taxes) and I was happy paying that. He acted shocked like that was too much and said they had a new special out where I would be paying $45 for the value plus plan. I asked a few questions as I didn't want to be in there forever like the previous time where I went with my daughter as a newborn and just getting a prepaid phone took two hours, I also double checked that it would be $45 a month as I was skeptical (expecting to pay around $50 with taxes and fees). I picked out a phone and he did that transaction and then he mentioned a buy two get one free case deal so I did that (never doing that again as the prices are 80% cheaper online, which I knew and it was my own fault for accepting "the deal" so that's on me) that part of the transaction he gave over to another employee as he was leaving for the day and she helped set up the transfer from my old phone to the new phone and ring me out for the cases, my daughter and I left to take a walk as it was going to be 30mins or more for the information transfer. I should mention I had auto pay set up on my account for at least 3 years and assumed since nothing changed in my account that it would just come out of my account as no one told me otherwise that I would need to relink my bank account..because that makes sense in this day and age. So a month goes by and my phone isn't working (my mom messaged me a few days earlier saying AT&T sent me a piece of mail at her house which I thought was odd since I hadn't lived there in 5 years at this point, I read the letter later on and it said my account was over do) Again, my phone wasn't working so I pull over after working my job (that I take my toddler to, like I don't have enough going on) and call AT&T customer service and waste 30mins explaining the situation on the phone and they tell me I owe $140.99 and was switched to the $65 unlimited plan and it will be more for a few months until it's less....? Like what? then I had to pay a late payment fee as well. My bill for the next month June 2023 was $88.06 (ummm why?) the next three months (July, August, September) it was $55.91 (so $4 less than what I was paying previously for only three months of this whole experience lol which isn't a savings AT ALL considering these are the only months it was less than before but in total overall I was out over $100) then the next three after that - leading to my most recent payment(October, November and December 2023) was $61.05 At this point I'm so annoyed, I wasted so much time in that store to then pay more in the long run for the same service I was getting before along with the hassle of my phone being turned off, mail to the wrong address and a late payment. I will never go back to this location again and from now on will be ordering an unlocked phone online or going elsewhere. I feel completely scammed. All that wasted time and effort with ZERO savings. Thanks guys! Bro should consider becoming a car salesman instead. Thanks guys"

"I had a complex situation with trying to get my iPhone 7 to connect with your pre-paid service. I had to pay for the service to see if it would work ( which is not a good protocol) but I took a chance. It did NOT work, however Amber was able to connect this AT&T service to my iPhone 14 that I us in New Zealand so that now I have access to both my NZ and my new USA numbers. All good"

"This was the very worst experience I have ever had. We had said we want to trade in an iPhone for the newer 14 pro model. He had assumed we had already purchased the new phone when he erased it and tried to blame us for his mistake. The employee erased our phone without confirming with us and before we purchased the new one. Had our information not been backed up to the iCloud it would have been gone forever. Not to mention he was unable to help us return the iPhone with the information. In the end he did not help us to purchase the new phone. He was rude and distracted taking calls and working with another customer. I would never recommend service here. I was thoroughly unimpressed and will be giving business elsewhere in the future."

"Was approached immediately. Said I didn't need help yet, but would decide quickly in new phone to buy. They gave space when needed and help when needed. Topa helped set up my new phone and was very informative with the questions I had so I could make the right choice. He set my phone up, and was happy to help me and put my new screen protector and new case on. He informed me of a 20% deal if I purchased a third accessory, which I purchased a car charger I needed. He also helped me with another issue on one of my other phone lines with ease. 100% recommend this store, Topa, and the manager that helped me when I had another question while Topa was busy setting up my phone."
