Lake Champlain Chocolates Flagship Store 750 Pine Street, Burlington, VT 05401

"The updated and modernized retail space will please any chocolate lover. Ice cream cones and coffee can be enjoyed and the little cafe. And you know everything is fresh. It came from the other side of the picture window."

"I already liked Lake Champlain Chocolates from my quick visits to the storefront on Church Street. I expected this store to be similar, but I was wrong. This location was just renovated and it is wonderfully designed and features not only a store section to buy packaged chocolate and a counter to browse specific sweets but also a cozy hot chocolate and coffee café with a really cool menu of drinks and baked goods. The seating is also nice and the interior design of the store is one of the best I've seen in Vermont. The quality of design reminds me of Barr Hill Gin Distillery. Now that fall is here I cannot wait to have quiet and cozy café mornings in this shop with my hot cocoa and a book. Lastly I'll mention the store sells factory seconds which are discounted 16 oz bags of chocolate that are the same quality and taste but didn't meet some visual standards. These were 15 dollars so we grabbed quite a few to have at home for snacks - definitely check these out."

"The chocolates are so good! They melt in your mouth, waw I wish I bought more. They have a section for discounted chocolate by the weight, those were great. Large parking place. Tasty chocolates. You can even get a coffee or a hot chocolate here."

"We visited the flagship store on a Saturday in October where they were offering some chocolate samples and a partner company was offering drinks. The shop has a cafe area where you can get coffee and hot cocoa, as well as some seating to enjoy your drinks. Unfortunately, drinks are served on paper cups instead of proper mugs. I think that for a flagship store that's self-contained, it should offer their drinks on cups/mugs (the container affects the taste!) There was a good assortment of chocolates for sale, as well as some "not perfect" products on discount. We bought some chocolate from this section. I was expecting the flagship store to be bigger, but it's a decent size and has plenty of parking. There is also some educational contents showing where cocoa comes from, and some information about the history of the chocolate company."

"Went there on Sunday and we were offered for chocolate tasting, they had little quiz for fun (no prize). Seems like this quiz happens during only weekend until 4PM, and factory tour will happen during weekday until 2PM. Store was nice looking and there were lots of parking spot (approx 25) staffs are really nice. But their chocolate was pricey $19/lbs. they also have shirts and other staff. Please see picture."
