"Perfect evening out with family and friends! The location is fabulous on top of a small mountain with views of the Ossipee mountains. This is an outdoor venue with picnic tables but wise to bring your own beach chair and bug spray. They serve brick oven pizza which you need to order online a day or 2 before you plan to go. Everything is locally grown and homemade. There is ice cream. We bring appetizers, a salad and drinks. Listen to the live music provided by a local artist while waiting for the pizza. Enjoy the sunset. Friendly dogs are allowed to roam and beg. Children play freely on the grass, some dance to the music. This is one of our favorite places to bring guests."

"My partner and I absolutely loved staying at Heather and Hank's farm for a long weekend. By far my favorite Airbnb experience. The Writer's Cottage is just the rustic NH summer experience I was hoping for - quiet, quaint, outdoor shower, cozy bed and a well equipped enough cooking space to make breakfast and dinner with the best quality ingredients right from the farm. Hank and Heather are extremely hospitable, special people. The evening we checked in, Hank welcomed us and gave us a tour of the property. We appreciated learning about the whole farm and it was inspiring to see such a labor of love. We were lucky to catch one of the farm pizza nights. Hank and Heather graciously open their home to the community for wood fired pies and live music with a stunning mountain view backdrop. It's clear Hank and Heather sincerely value bringing people together for great experiences. The only thing I would change about our experience would be to stay for longer to savor more time on the farm relaxing and to explore more of the area. Tamworth/Sandwich is arguably the prettiest part of NH with a couple of villages, a distillery, farmer market, waterfall hikes and antiques aplenty. I'm very into cooking / food. I was thrilled to have access to the adorable self-serve farm stand on the property full of meats, eggs and produce from on site. On our departure, we took home as much as would fit in the insulated box Hank kindly gave us. I cooked some of the pork chops from the farm for dinner last night...holy moly they were the best I've ever had. We'll be back in the fall!"
